GRAND AUTO OPENS IN GRAND MALL

VII. Withdraw and receive prizes
The prizes from scratch cards can be received at Info Desk. Prizes can be obtained not later than 10.00 pm on 15.09.2011.
The prize of 1000 leva from the lottery will be withdrawn in public and will be carried out by three-member commission to 01.09.2011 from 5.00 pm in Grand Mall.

Exhibition of magazine

Grand Mall Celebrates 1st Birthday on May 27th

Unique photo exhibition "Undisclosed Beauty - Amazing Landscapes of the Dead Sea"
On January 26 residents of Varna will be able to see for the first time a unique photo exhibition "Undisclosed Beauty - Amazing Landscapes of the Dead Sea". The exhibition includes 20 aerial photographs taken from the skilful lens of renowned photographer Duby Tal , served as a helicopter pilot in the Air Force of Israel. Photographs were taken from the air by pilotage of Moni Haramati.
The exhibition is part of the "Undisclosed Beauty" and an attempt to capture and preserve the magnificent views of the Dead Sea, and to draw attention to its condition.
"We are pleased to host this wonderful exhibition to be presented for the first time in Varna. Grand Mall welcomes Christmas with 13 new stores
Galeria Scandal, Guess and Cacao Club are among the fashion brands showing up in Varna for the first time
13 new stores will be opened in Grand Mall in December. Among the key new tenants are brands entering for the first time Varna market like Galeria Scandal, Guess and Cacao Club. Grand Mall visitors will be able to shop at Hush Puppies, Tempo Sport, My Computer, SubWay, announced from Colliers International, exclusive advisor in retail leasing. Soon these attractive brands will be joined by Massimo Dutti, part of the fashion giant Inditex, which presented in Grand Mall for the first time in Varna market Zara, Stradivarius, Bershka, Pull and Bear and Oysho.
Apart from the new fashion brands is the opening of the largest and most attractive children's indoor complex in Varna - Kids Planet on 23rd December. Maze for the kids, various video games and simulators, billiards, animation programs are only part of the entertainment, which Grand Mall customers can expect. The conceptual design for Kids Planet was presented and prized at the international exhibition "Entertainment Industry – 2010”, held in Kiev in September.

Scientific Cafe “Café Scientifique” will surprise Varna citizens with the theme
In the expected rainy Friday the British Council and Forum "Democrit" surprised Varna citizens with a scientific café with a theme "Strange Rain". Café Scientifique visited Mai Cafe in Grand Mall on 26th November (Friday) at 18.30,
Drizzle, rain, sleet, hail, snow... there is nothing unusual with that rainfall, we have all seen it. However, Prince sings: "Purple Rain"! Is this fiction or a natural phenomenon? If the answer is in meteorology, then Magda Karaicheva, a physicist-meteorologist told us more about this "STRANGE RAIN".
Magda Karaycheva graduated physics at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. She was a finalist in the competition Laboratory for fame FameLab 2008 and has participated in numerous events for science communication.
Café Scientifique meetings offer a pleasant atmosphere, welcoming talk about science in an accessible and popular language, away from academia. This happens in non-traditional for science areas such as cafés, bars, restaurants and clubs. To join us it is not necessary to be a scientist or student in science discipline.
Cafe Scientifique in Bulgaria is conducted jointly by the British Council and Forum Democrit and media partnership of the journal BG Science and Sites.

Grand Christmas with Christmas charity campaign
On 17th November (Wednesday) at 19.00 Grand Mall launched Christmas charity campaign "Help Santa Claus" intended for children from homes for disadvantaged children from Varna. Thanks to the initiative of Grand Mall, Varna public will be invited not only to turn Christmas into magical children's holiday, but also to become acquainted with the fate of these children and to reach them out.
The campaign “Help Santa Claus!” will be held from 17th November to 27th December, 2010. "Anyone with a good heart who wants to please an unknown child can take a card from the Grand Christmas tree, where to find out how old is the boy or the girl who will receive the Christmas present. Gifts will be collected at Information Desk in Grand Mall and for every present there will be a gift certificate for the donation” shared Steven Cleaver, manager of Grand Mall, Colliers International.

Grand Mall with award
Grand Mall won the statuette "Gold plumb" for 2010 awarded to Comfort Ltd. for the project in the category of commercial building in Varna. The prestigious award was presented by The Mayor Kiril Yordanov on the formal ceremony of "Construction Exhibition - Varna 2010" on October 25. The exhibition is displayed in the Grand Mall.
The competition, organized by the Chamber of Builders in Bulgaria - Varna District representation with the media partnership of the City Building is held for the ninth time.
"Award" Golden plumb "is a recognition of Grand Mall, whose architecture is designed to deliver both comfort shopping and confidence and good mood of residents and guests of Varna and the region. Kids with first fashion steps
Kids made their first fashion steps in the review in Grand Mall.
This was the third edition of a series of fashion events in Grand Mall, organized by agency VIP Fashion Group, which was dedicated to children.
40 kids have become a real star during the show. Although not much experience in fashion, they managed the task brilliantly and posing as true professionals to the photographer Joseph Zidarov. Spezia in shooting fashion photoshoots done little cute who marched. Opportunity to express themselves were the smallest models of the team of Mira Mateeva who ranged in age from 2 to 13 years.
Attraction in the beginning was the emergence of the smallest model - Viktor Todorov, 1 years old. Although this is his first appearance of the show, he did excellent with the presentation of clothes by Carnival Kids, accompanied by Renata Cholakova, won second place at this year's Miss Varna.

Agency VIP Fashion Group officially opened its autumn-winter fashion season with the first of a series of shows hosted by Grand Mall.
The launch was early this Friday at Yan Coffee Break. One of the best models of the agency, including Miss Varna 2010 Virginia Mutafchieva and the popular Dian Hristov, presented the latest collections of brand Pompea, Daphne, Terranova, Calliope, Kenvelo, Tally Weijl, Raptor - Hunting, Tom Tailor, Tempo Casual and unique jewelry Misaki.
Gorge was varied with a makeshift playground where each of the marks was made unusual photo shoot. For all guests at the fashion event were provided special discounts, and many gifts. As the lead was the charming Miss Varna 2005.

Grand Mall launched the autumn events on 3 October with the national campaign, Ben 10 10 10. Thousands of children took part in action games, laser fights, shootings target for sticky balls, bungee alley and gladiator arena, organized by the Cartoon Network TV and Hippoland.
Manny events, entertainments and new concepts will offer Grand Mall in the autumn season in Varna. The unique children's center in the country KidsPlanet, a series of fashion shows and free dance lessons await visitors to the largest mall in Varna.

Fashion and entertainment month starts at Grand Mall
Children's playground with a unique entertainment concept for Bulgaria opens its doors in the shopping center
Numerous events, leisure activities and new entertainment concepts will be offered in Grand Mall Varna during the autumn season. The unique children's center in the country KidsPlanet, a series of fashion shows, raffles, free dance lessons, Cartoon Network children events and Halloween party expect all visitors to the largest shopping center in Varna.
KidsPlanet - the first children's entertainment center with a comparable concept in Bulgaria, will open in late autumn with a total area of over 1000 sq.m. Special maze, various video games and simulators, billiard and animation programs are only part of the entertainment which customers can expect in Grand Mall. Over 17 new brands entering Grand Mall Varna
Oysho and LC Waikiki among the fashion brands first step in Varna
Over 17 new sites will be opened at Grand Mall in Varna in the new season. Among the key new tenants is the one entered in August for the first time on Bulgarian market, Spanish lingerie shop Oysho – part of the well known fashion giant Inditex, which is already present in the mall with its other brands such as Zara, Bershka, Stradivarius and Pull & Bear.
On the eve of the new school year the fashion company LC Waikiki also opened its first store in Bulgaria, situated on more than 1.200 m2. Collection of the brand with nearly 25-year history offers the latest Street fashion and stylish clothing oriented to the lifestyle of young people.
Visitors to the mall can shop in recently opened shops like Fan Point, Adidas and Technomarket with their new concept At Home. These attractive shops will soon be joined by Playlife, Mango, Guess and Galeria Scandal.
Besides the new fashion brands, Grand Mall will offer large entertainment areas for all Varna citizens. With over 1.000 m2 playground “KID's Play” will become a compulsory destination for both children and adults. Among the new tenants are the cosmetic shop Casyopea and the sports chain Tempo Sport, reported by Colliers International, the exclusive leasing consultant in the commercial areas in the mall.

Grand Mall, Foundation I want a baby and in-vitro clinic Olimed announced charity exhibition Angels with Mission and school for pregnant women
Grand Mall Varna, Foundation I want a baby and in vitro two clinic Olimed announced two charity initiatives - exhibition "Angels With A Mission” and summer school for pregnant women.
The photos included in the exhibition are the work of photographer Peter Ganev, a "model" - children born through in vitro methods. Any supportive of the cause will have the opportunity to purchase photographs. With funds raised from the exhibition will be supported treatment of women from Varna. The exhibition is open to visitors until 15 September.
Again, as a joint project of the Foundation I want Baby, in vitro clinic Olimed and Grand Mall Varna starts free summer school for pregnant women. It will focus on preparing women have undergone a successful assisted reproduction, but the training sessions are open to all pregnant women who wish to obtain useful advice and emotional support. Grand Mall presents British “Darwin Now” exhibition
From 7 July the inhabitants of Varna will be able to see the unique British Council exhibition “Darwin Now”. In July and August the host Grand Mall will present interesting facts related to the life of Charles Darwin, his ideas and his fundamental theory of the origin of species in the context of their impact on contemporary researches in the field of biology and medicine.
"We are pleased to host this wonderful exhibition, which enjoys a great interest in all cities within the country. I am glad that Grand Mall will enable people of all ages, especially children, to feel in touch with the life and works of the great scientist in a pleasant and non committal way”, said Steven Cleaver, Grand Mall Manager, Colliers International. “The exhibition is part of the plentiful program with unique summer events, which aims to position Grand Mall as a place not only for shopping but also as an educational and entertainment centre.
Among the exposition there are texts, photographs and drawings devoted to Darwin's voyage on “Beagle” ship, his journal, his evolution theory, views of his contemporaries for his work "Origin of Species", science-religion relationship and his scientific correspondence.
The exhibition offers visitors the chance to share their own ideas about Darwin and the evolution. One of the most interesting exhibits is the evolutionary tree, which every visitor has the opportunity to leave a small card with his message, inspired by the exhibition. Many of the messages attached to the tree so far are related to the nature preservation.
The exposition visits different cities in Bulgaria as a contribution of the British Council to the International honour of 200th anniversary of the eminent scientist and 150 years since the publication of his “Origin of Species”. In partnership with the National Museum of Natural History the unique exhibition has been presented in Sofia, Plovdiv, Asenovgrad, Stara Zagora, Pazardjik, Sliven and Bourgas, and for a second time in Varna thanks to Grand Mall.

Extreme celebration of June 1st for the brave in Grand Mall Varna
On June 1st extreme obstacles and lots of fun awaited the visitors at Grand Mall Varna. Mountaineering in the Mall, rope ladder to the sky, 30 m of rope trolley and Tarzan-like jumping from rope to rope is only a part from the attractions. The mood of the brave reached the limit in the last challenge – bungee in the Mall.
The celebration continued throughout the whole day with some interesting guests at Grand Mall Varna – Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and the turtle ninja Raphaelo. The puppet theater and the special master of balloon figures were some of the children’s favorite attraction.
There was also an exhibition opened, with paintings from talented children from 8th SOUPCHE "Al. Pushkin". It can be seen until July 1st. Until then there will be a special built playground for painting, which is located next to the free trampoline.
The celebration ended with an amazing performance of the children from Iliyana Raeva's dance school. The dance school opens doors in Grand mall Varna at the end of the summer.

More than 280 000 visitors in Grand Mall Varna during the first weekend after the opening
The long-awaited Grand Mall Varna enjoyed unprecedented interest during the first days of its opening. The shopping center opened on May 27th and the number visitors exceeded the forecast of Orchid Developments Groups – owners and contractors of the project.
"The response from our visitors and tenants is tremendous", said Steven Cleaver, manager of Grand Mall Varna. “From its opening on Thursday morning, the shopping center welcomed more than 280 000 visitors”. This is far above our expectations, which fully justifies our decision to open the mall early and take advantage of the huge potential of the market in Varna during the summer season. The initial success will be quickly followed by a second wave of opening – the venues and the entertainment spots will open in the third week of June. We will keep on presenting new stores and venues during the whole summer. I have no doubt that this will further enhance the diverse and innovative services offered by us and will be the next step in the establishment of Grand Mall Varna as a leader in the trade market and as a place for entertainment for the leisure time not only in Varna, but also in Bulgaria.

Grand Mall Varna welcomed thousands for its opening
Grand Mall Varna opened doors today. The ribbon was cut by Eli Egosi - partner and advisor to the executive director of Orchid Developments Group, the ambassador of Israel in Bulgaria Noah Gal Gendler, Rosen Plevenliev - minister of the regional development and public works, Steven Cleaver – manager of Grand Mall Varna, Varna Municipality representatives and partners of the project.
The official ceremony was opened with a bagpipes performance. According to the Bulgarian customs, the participants in the event were welcomed with the traditional Bulgarian bread, honey and salt, and the special guests threw coins while entering the mall for luck and prosperity.
The largest mall in Varna and the region will amuse its visitors with various offers, entertainments and surprises to the end of the week.
Some world-famous brands open doors for the first time in the trade market in Varna, such as Zara, Bershka, Stradivarius, Pull and Bear, Humanic, Playlife, Calliope, Douglas, Bata, Deichmann, Intersport The hypermarket Carrefour and the Arena cinema are the tenants with the largest area (resp. 9300 square meters and 8 halls with 1100 sitting places).

The shopping center has more than 50,000 square meters of retail space and more than 1700 parking spaces for the comfort of its visitors.
